Iza & the Wildcards — blues rock band

Women sing the blues

The music

Iza & the Wildcards is a powerful blues rock band fronted by singer Iza (Isabelle Stevens). With her soulful voice, expressive saxophones and strong stage presence, she delivers the blues with passion and character.

Around Iza stand four musical Wildcards: Maarten, Jasper, Stefaan and Jan. Together they create a powerful mix of blues rock, soul, roots and funk, with heavy riffs, deep grooves and a good dose of dynamics.

From sizzling blues classics to fiery modern songs: Iza & the Wildcards bring an energetic live show that moves you, carries you away and makes you groove.

With Iza as a powerful female voice, they stand firmly in the tradition of “Women Sing the Blues” — a musical heritage of strong women who give the blues their own face, voice and soul.
